When people ask us why rescue matters so much to us, the answer is simple: look around our house.
Between us, we share our home with 3 dogs and 3 cats. Of those six animals, four came to us through rescue. They didn't come with papers or pedigrees. They came with big eyes, uncertain pasts, and a whole lot of love to give.
The Animals Who Started It All
Three of our cats and one of our dogs were found abandoned on the streets. They were alone, vulnerable, and in need of a home. Today, they are the heart of our household, and the loudest ones at dinner time.
These animals didn't just become part of our family. They became the reason we started Paws and Place.
What Rescue Taught Us
Street rescues often come with quirks. They need patience. They need the right gear, harnesses that are gentle, beds that feel safe, toys that don't overwhelm. Shopping for them made us realise how few brands actually thought about the full spectrum of pet personalities and needs.
So we started curating products ourselves. Everything we carry has been tested on our own animals first, including the ones who took the longest to trust us. If a product works for a nervous street cat or a once-wary abandoned dog, it's earned a place on our shelves.
Our Commitment Going Forward
We believe that every pet deserves a good home and every owner deserves products that actually work. We are actively looking to partner with local shelters in Thailand to support adoption efforts and animal welfare, and we'll share more on that soon.
